CR: Open to canonmates, cross canon, assumed CR, misfires, OCs, etc.
AU: Open to most! Canon mashups/transplants, what-ifs, modern Westeros, modern our world, etc. I'm not interested in superhero worlds, nor rule 63ing Brienne.
Shipping: Open to try anything up to the hard limits below! Easier to do in a modern AU, but rather difficult in any situation. Even assuming an established relationship will be full of pitfalls; she's had a very rough past emotionally. Re: Tormund in particular, I'm only interested in platonic CR (no Briemund, and no one-sided either, sorry but it's a squick).
Violence: She's armored and has an arguably magic sword, this is totally on the table. However, I don't actually enjoy threading nitty-gritty fights all that much. If you're interested in hashing out a fight blow by blow, I might not be the Brienne for you, but we can chat and see first!
Brienne's world is a hard place filled with what folks tend to call period-typical violence and values. Mentions of rape and murder are possible, but I try not to focus too much on them when I can get away with it. Her proximity to a Lannister also puts mention of incest on the table. Though she's very unlikely to bring it up, given the slim chance it feels worth warning for!
Brienne herself is a walking nightmare of self-worth and body image issues. She carries a super-sized dumpster full of internalized misogyny: lots of abuse re bodies that don't fit prescribed societal norms and her version of radically accepting herself through that lens. She will call herself freakish, ugly, and mannish. If you want to thread but really don't want to engage with those elements so closely, please shoot me a PM and ask for the Brienne-lite package, I fully understand not wanting to unpack all of that.
On canon: Book and show Brienne differ greatly, and I liberally mashup what I can get away with regarding her personality and history. If you'd like to, feel free to request book-only or show-only representation!
Hard limits: I prefer not to play out nor fade to dub/non-con, underage ships, sexual assault, or child/animal abuse. Discussion is OK, and this limit can change depending on how frequently we thread / talk OOCly!
